This is a one-of-a-kind instrument, that I made on request from this incredible Swiss stone pine wood.
The body shape is based on a Rickenbacker and the cherry fingerboard merges into the headstock covering. The carvings were handmade. I used a tropical seed pod as the flower pistil of the silver thistle in the lower bout. The pickups give a very fast responding, bassy-warm to biting-wirey sound. Somewhere between Precision Bass and MM style.
