Setup Workshop

This workshop teaches you all the fundamental skills to independently set up and maintain your guitars (whether acoustic or electric) to their optimal condition. You will work on up to two of your own instruments and take them home perfectly set up at the end of the day.

Course Contents

• Correct neck adjustment using the truss rod
• Basic handling of setup tools
• Bridge height / saddle adjustment (action)
• Proper filing of nut slots
• Pickup height adjustment
• Intonation (octave tuning)
• Fret polishing
• Restringing and thorough cleaning

The course takes place in a fully equipped workshop and is closely supervised. By the end, you will have the knowledge and hands-on experience to understand the needs of your instruments and to carry out complex work on them independently.
